I’m on a mad shirt riff now, and this is a tasty one from Palmer/Harding. Just beyond the edge of affordable at £235 (unless you love it in which case, fuck it get it) and also very uninspiring styling here. Are we really expected to wear it like that? I tweeted them to ask if the sleeves can be easily turned up and they said that they can either be rolled or folded back once to show off the deep cuff.

Shirts are great at the mo and I could see this one working well as a layer, beneath a grey or navy round neck sweater. Sweater sleeves pushed back to just before the elbows, so those big shirt cuffs can be seen and perhaps folded back, if the fashion police dictate so.

I need to stop reading your blog. I am too susceptible. Not only have I whipped my way through all five of the bloody Cazalet Chronicles I have now bought myself a white shirt. And am contemplating that air flosser. I blame my husband for moving me out of London.

the cazalets, the white shirt and the air flosser are all ESSENTIAL though… not like you’re buying an anya hind march goggly eyes backpack for £800… xxx
